Proximis, the publisher of Web to Store solutions, unveils its brand new innovation: Flash Delivery ©. The concept is to offer Internet users the possibility of buying a product online and having it delivered within the hour, wherever they want.

The latest innovation from Proximis
The 5th innovation from Proximis, Flash Delivery © is a new cross-channel tool that addresses one of the main pitfalls of e-commerce: Delivery. By relying on their distribution network, brands and retailers will now be able to deliver to their customers within a record time of one to two hours.

The service offered from September 24 on the web and mobile, will be available in the main French and English cities, before expanding in early 2014 to Germany and the United States.

Ordering a product online and receiving it within a few hours contributes to purchasing comfort, meets the consumer's need for immediacy, and enables brands to improve their services to consumers. Flash Delivery © responds to this trend which consists in combining the advantages of e-commerce and those of physical networks.
Proof of this trend, Ebay launched a few months ago in the United States, Ebay Now, its “Same Day Delivery” service from convenience stores.

Description of the service
Like the entire Web to Store suite imagined by Proximis, Flash Delivery © is in the cloud, can be deployed in a few days and can be integrated directly into the website of the brand or chain. The system identifies the courier closest to the store with the products in stock, orchestrates the withdrawal by the delivery person and keeps the customer informed of the follow-up of his delivery.
