AIDES, the French association for the fight against HIV is back with a new spot that openly mocks men.
Man takes it for his rank
Imagined by TBWA Paris, the advertising spot concludes “that men's IQs drop as they undress”.
In the endless “man-woman” debate, AIDES chooses its side and invites women to think for two by re-dressing the men with a condom. The effectiveness of the small scenes and their grotesque side help to relax the atmosphere on a message that attacks men directly.
The importance of wearing a condom and the consequences of not wearing it are thus highlighted and help to show that a simple gesture is enough to prevent the dangers of HIV.
