New innovation in the design agency's “shopping centers” expertise: originally from the Anglo-Saxon region, this approach is aimed at real estate companies and owners of shopping centers, and offers to support them in the design management of projects. arrangement of lessees.
The Jeu de Paume shopping center (Hammerson) which has just opened in Beauvais is the culmination of the first Design Management mission entirely led by AKDV.
A new discipline that puts design back at the heart of commerce
The agency thus supports real estate companies in the development projects of points of sale by following a double ambition: to ensure the high level of "creative quality" of each development, and to ensure respect for the architectural environment and positioning. of the Center.
Through Design Management, each brand is pushed to “give the best of itself”, by being stimulated to express its creativity, bring its own story to life by personalizing its facade and interior layout as much as possible. The objective is to create shopping centers that are not an alignment of identical concepts, but on the contrary a succession of different and powerful universes, attractive and qualitative, in order to create a real shopping experience for visitors.
Design Management significantly increases the attractiveness and uniqueness of a shopping center.
A Design Management mission can be broken down into four stages:
- Development of a Design Guide presenting the creative recommendations to follow;
- Discussion with each lessee and continuous analysis of the development project;
- Issue of a Design Validation;
- Follow-up visits during construction.
Design Management can be applied to centers in creation or renovations, in progress or completed.
To carry out this project, AKDV has set up a dedicated team of Design Managers, under the direction of François Serena, Creative Director of the agency's “shopping centers” expertise. François spent several years in London during which he gained a solid experience in the development of shopping centers.
A challenge for the future for shopping centers
