Alcatel is previewing the world's first smartphone equipped with the Firefox OS mobile operating system. Is a revolution in the mobile world on the way?
Alcatel presents the One Touch Fire, the world's first smartphone running Firefox OS
The Mozilla Foundation presented its mobile operating system, Firefox OS, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. After the arrival of Firefox 19, then Firefox 20 Beta in one week, the Mozilla Foundation has just unveiled an already very successful version of its mobile operating system at the Mobile World Congress which is being held this week in Barcelona. It is therefore without waiting for Alcatel to unveil the first smartphone under Firefox OS.
It is an entry-level mobile which however offers interesting features with a completely new operating system from Firefox.
The One Touch Fire incorporates of course the famous Firefox web browser, a 3,2 megapixel camera and a 1 GHz processor. The mobile will be available in seven colors and will be equipped with the following features:

But it is above all its price that will make it particularly attractive: 99 euros without subscription! At this price, they risk making people jealous!
The Alcatel Touch Fire smartphone will be available on the internet from July 2013… So a little more patience…
