Cellfish said they bought the music app on Facebook Bandsintown for an undeclared amount. Established in 2007, Bandsintown suggests following the favorite artists of its Internet users and finding new ones depending in particular on their musical preferences or their place of residence.


Then the telephone ringtone and logo merchant can prospect with the intention of being more present on the social network.

At first, Bandsinstown was just a web portal coupled with a mobile app, (who subsequently disappeared).

Facebook informs Bandsinstown that 3.2 million Internet users use the application around the world every month.
