Opel is one of those brands that constantly bring technological innovations to their products to increase their added value and consumer comfort. Communicating about these innovations is essential, but doing it well is even better.
The limit of understanding
In this campaign signed by the Scholz & Friends agency, Opel has decided to communicate on its warning system for frontal collisions. This detection system allows drivers to be alerted by an audible signal of the imminent danger so that they can avoid it.
To highlight this peculiarity, the agency produced a series of three prints in which we can see “injured” animals in the backs of other animals. The message “unfortunately our frontal collision warning system is not available to everyone” accompanies the poster.
What can be understood is that only animals can not afford an Opel, equipped with this detection system. It can also be a simple “creative” advertisement which wants to amuse the consumer in order to capture their attention.
